About King Street Artworks


A creative space for people who use, or have used mental health services and for their whanau and friends and for the whole community.


To promote well-being in the community through creative expression; placing whanaungatanga (family togetherness) at the heart of what we do.

To reduce the stigma attatched to mental illness.

To work in partnership with Maori under the Treaty of Waitangi.

Workshop Hours

Monday - Friday | 10am - 3pm
Saturdays | 10am - 2pm
Friday is Women's day!
